Accessibility
Ride Hero is committed to making transportation accessible to everyone in Southern Utah. We believe getting around safely and affordably should not depend on ability, and we're actively working to ensure our app and services meet that standard.
App accessibility
The Ride Hero web app is built to work with assistive technologies including screen readers and keyboard navigation. We follow WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as our baseline and are continuously improving.
- All interactive elements have descriptive labels for screen readers.
- Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA minimums throughout the app.
- The app respects system-level "Reduce Motion" preferences.
- Text scales correctly with browser font-size settings.
Ride accessibility
If you have specific accessibility needs for your ride — including wheelchair access, extra time to board, or assistance with luggage — please note this in the app when booking or contact us before your trip so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Feedback & requests
We want to hear from you. If you encounter a barrier in our app or service, please email rides@rideheroapp.com with the subject line "Accessibility." We aim to respond within two business days and will work with you to find a solution.
Ongoing commitment
Accessibility is not a checklist — it's an ongoing practice. As we grow, we'll continue investing in accessible design, driver training, and community feedback. Thank you for helping us get there.
